Applications for the 2027 Brighton Fringe are open!

We are taking applications for Brighton Fringe shows for May 2027, so now is the time to apply to us if you'd like to bring a show to one of our venues for the 2027 Brighton Fringe - please submit an applcation now! (And we'll keep programming right up to the Fringe deadlines while there are spaces remaining.)

Laughing Horse is running five performance spaces in four venues for Brighton Fringe 2027 - with performances daily from May 7th to June 6th, 2027.

Our venues vary from the intimate space of the Temple with 50 seats, up to the large capacity Walrus Basement room which seats 105. Details of all of the venues can be found here

Please note that there at the moment we cannot programme a&o Hostel due to a major refurbishment at the hostel ovr the winter. This venue may become available later when rebuiding plans are confirmed to the venue managers.

This year we have a new venue - The Hare & Hounds, an upstairs 85 capacity venue that is new to us, but has hosted Fringe shows previously.

Some details have changed, so even if you are a performer who has performed with us before please read through these pages to find out all of the details of our venues, and how we'll be opearating in 2026.

All of our venues operate on a flat-fee basis, so all door/ticket money goes direct to performers. This is for Paid Entry, Pay-What-You-Can and Free with Collection shows.
