Yolk

Following success at Edinburgh Fringe 2019, YOLK returns after a period of lockdown hibernation - bigger, bolder and more beautiful than ever!

A combination of clown, absurd comedy, poetry and song, YOLK is a surreal journey into human existence, beginning in the ovary and ending in death. The show is a subtle, silly, sexy celebration of life, with all the beauty, mess and madness that it encompasses, that asks why we are here and what it means to be a woman.

Previous praise for YOLK:

“Silly, sexy and moving... you’ll laugh till your ovaries burst! ”

“Whimsical, wise, funny and poignant... . definitely makes you think.”

“endless amount of spirit to the stage with energy that is completely intoxicating”

Created and performed by Izzy Stott

Produced by SOMEWHERE BETWEEN

Directed by Steffen Hånes
