PAUL DENNIS: IMASHINATION

"Brilliant", "Amazing", "Fantastic". These are just some of the superlatives used by audience members after performances of this show at the Edinburgh and Swansea fringes in 2021.

IMASHINATION is a non-stop conveyerbelt of showstoppers, interwoven with the darkly observed and cheekily insolent telling of a tale of personal discovery and transformation by a standup whose experience spans 3 decades. Paul's previous Fringe shows have earned 4 stars a-piece and his musical performances have attracted praise like:

"This guy's voice is gonna knock your socks off" - Christian Reilly

"Simple blew the audience away" - Basingstoke Gazette, following his band's performances of Pink Floyd: The Wall to two capacity audiences at The Anvil, Basingstoke's 1200 seater venue.

This "lacto-free" cabaret (for it is far from the cheesy stereotype the word conjures) was originally planned for 90 minutes and now, Paul brings the full length show to Brighton.

A multi-instrumentalist, Paul uses looping technology, to build arrangements of classic rock covers with a jazz/funk twist. From the Beatles to Bowie, AC/DC to Led Zeppelin, no (rolling) stone is left unturned!

Ticket types this year are Paid, Pay What You Can and Free - this is how it works: Paid: The show is fully ticketed and you pay in advance or on the door; Pay What You Can: You can choose to buy a ticket in advanced to guarantee entry and what to pay over a minimum amount OR turn up at the venue to get in for free in any space that is left; Free: The show is free entry and can be ticketed or unticketed. Watch the show, and the performer will ask for donations at the end for those that would like to contribute.
