Autism Mama and Puberty

'Autism Mama and Puberty' is Josephine's new solo show.

Puberty can be challenging enough for a 'neurotypical' teenager. But what about the added challenges teenagers who are on the autism spectrum face at this period of development? Raging hormones, mood swings, diminished or delayed understanding of what is happening to their bodies and feelings. What if your child is non-verbal or needs visual aids to communicate? Then the parents; what about them? How do we go about supporting a child on the spectrum and who do we go to for help?....

....Well, let me tell you; come hear an hilarious tale of life, antics and challenges of living and caring for a pubescent teenager who happens to be autistic.

This show is for EVERYONE! Comedy lovers, parents, carers, teachers, professionals and Mr & Mrs Bloggs - EVERYONE!

Quotes:

* Hi Josephine, I saw you last night at your show and I have to tell you how phenomenal you are!!! I don't know how you're not selling out worldwide tours! I have depression and I haven't laughed like that in a very long time, thank you so much for an unforgettable night! - (comedy lover Nov '21)

*I was at this show and thought you were brilliant. The way you articulated your story was a whole host of emotions. I almost cried at times and then was in hysterics the next minute! This was different to any stand up I've seen and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you x - (comedy lover Oct '21)

*“Josephine is a comedy bombshell, just light the blue touch-paper and watch the mirth erupt. She has a raw natural energy which is a joy to watch and even better to watch an audiences reaction as she explodes on stage. – BBC

*Josephine’s brutal and caustic delivery left people in stitches. This lady’ delightfully un-ladylike style is powerful and honest but always funny” – Jeff Leach, TV Presenter
